Toorak mega-mansion with nine-car garage listed for $30m-$33m


The mansion at 60 Hopetoun Rd, Toorak, is on the market for the first time in 25 years.


One of Toorak’s most expensive mansions has been listed for the first time in more than two decades, with a mammoth $30m-$33m price tag.

Comprised of six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and basement parking for nine cars, the sprawling luxury residence at 60 Hopetoun Road cuts an imposing figure in the blue-chip suburb’s streetscape.

The title of Toorak’s biggest recorded residential sale is held by 9-13 Chastleton Ave, which sold for $38.6m in 2018.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Mr Chiminello said the Hopetoun Rd address was “one of Toorak’s, if not one of Melbourne’s, greatest homes”.

The online listing notes inspections are strictly by appointment only.

The kitchen has a separate butler’s pantry with access to a cool room.


The property last sold for $5.75m in March 1996, according to CoreLogic.
